Welcome and thanks for being here!

Prior to joining SFU in 2025, I worked as a clinical neuropsychologist in large hospital systems in the USA and Canada. In these roles, I was often the person giving a life-altering (some have said “life-shattering”) diagnosis. It was also in these roles that I saw first-hand how healthcare systems often let people down at a time when they are most vulnerable and in need of significant support. These gaps in care were the seeds for starting the Co-Lab where we aim to improve quality of life for ALL people affected by dementia through community collaboration.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me with my family (especially my adorable twin nephews), spending time among the trees, gardening, or having deep conversations with my foster cats.
